The Learning Innovation Coach oversees the implementation, evaluation, and impact of the Ed Farm Teacher Fellow program while fostering innovation to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing professional learning, facilitating coaching cycles, model high-impact teaching and learning strategies, co-teaching with Teacher Fellows and providing ongoing instructional support to the Ed Farm’s Teacher Fellows cohorts in Montgomery, the Alabama Black Belt Region and statewide.

The Education Farm (“Ed Farm”) is a transformational program in Birmingham that will increase K-12 and postsecondary attainment, eliminate educational inequality, close the tech skills gap, and promote innovation in education. Ed Farm is a strategic partnership with Apple Inc, funded through Apple’s Community Education Initiative. Ed Farm will deploy and support programs in schools and communities with an emphasis on Swift and iOS-based technology, build upon existing assets in communities that it operates in, and implement new programming and tools that will achieve measurable goals related to educational attainment, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.
Ed Farm is looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Developer to help build software products that will enhance our educational programming with the goal of having Ed Farm Online as the go-to online resource for innovative educational offerings. Join our burgeoning tech team as we research, design, and build a useful and usable platform for our growing Ed Farm Community. You’ll work closely with our Product Manager and UX Design Lead to build a web platform from scratch that our customers will find simple, informative, and delightful. Ed Farm has a product roadmap that we believe our users will love, and we need you to help bring those experiences to life.
