Informed by galleries from the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (BCRI), The Movement is a mobile app dedicated to sharing Birmingham's rich history through visual stories, audio interviews, and AR installations across the city. Recognizing that youth shape movements and culture, The Movement features young people as historians and storytellers, empowering them with the tools to guide and create the app's content. Immersive experiences connect visitors to Birmingham’s downtown and neighborhood landmarks, bringing history to life through the eyes of the next generation.
